Through a multi-stage washing process, the cotton canvas sheds its raw stiffness, leaving behind a soft, broken-in texture and a beautiful vintage patina. We deliberately distressed the brim with raw, frayed cutouts—not as flaws, but as openings for time to speak. Each edge is then meticulously overlaid and hand-stitched with authentic Kyoto indigo-dyed heritage fabric.

Destruction and repair, fading and re-dyeing, all engage in a profound dialogue on a single cap. This isn’t retro; it’s about making traditional craftsmanship a rhythm of modern daily life.

 Washing Instructions & Care

• Indigo-dyed products will naturally and slowly fade over time and through washes. This is a natural characteristic and the true charm of indigo dye.
• Hand wash separately is highly recommended. Avoid soaking for an extended period.
• Do not tumble dry. Avoid drying under direct sunlight.
• This product utilizes traditional indigo dyeing techniques. With every wear and wash, the organic fading is its soul, not a defect.
